Utar Tamang part time college student and our trekking guide has just finished his mountaineering training conducted by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). Utar just didn't completed the training but he was placed in first rank among other trainees! His quick learning ability and art of utilizing his knowledge in right place have shown that he is one of the potential big time climbers for the future. He is also trained in wilderness first aid. Utar is already on the way for his unlimited expenditions. . . .
 
Lakpa Tamang is one of the very senior trekking guides of Nepal. He first ventured to Kathmandu for trekking in early 1980s and started to work as a trekking guide. He has led many people to most of the trekking peaks opened for climbing. Besides he has climbed Mt. Mustaka of western Tibet near the border of Pakistan. Lakpa originally comes from Solukhumbu but he recently settled in Kathmandu with his small family of one son and two daughters. He is about to be retired from his job but still he wants to share the stories of his achievement as climbing and trekking guide.
 
Amber Tamang is the founder manager of Tamang Expeditions since 1999. Apart from managing his own company, he is the local representative and tour leader of Himalayan High Treks, CA, USA. He was born in a remote village of Solukhumbu lower foothills of Mt. Everest. His tiny village of Tapting is off the trekking route so it's underdeveloped and not even mentioned in most of the maps of the area.

Up to high school his schooling was in Sindhuli of southern Nepal where his grand father helped him to study. In 1992, he first ventured to Kathmandu for further study. He holds Masters degree in culture (that includes Indian philosophy, History and Archaeology) and also graduat in Law from Tribhuwan University, Kathmandu. His career in tourism begun as part time trekking staff from 1993.

He has received trainings and participated in different national and international workshops and seminars related to culture and sustainable tourism business. He shares his knowledge in this field contributing articles in various publications. In free times he spents his time helping his wife to cook and travelling with his team in to new trekking areas.

 
Sushma Tamang, assistant manager of Tamang Expeditons is a graduate in economics. She handles the administration affaris of the company. She had her schooling in Udayapur, a remote southern district of eastern Nepal. In Kathmandu she had completed her university graduation in women's college of Tribhuvan University. She lives in Kathmandu with her small family accompained by her husband and daughter. She loves marshal art and travelling into religious sites.
 
Ang Gyalu Sherpa is the freelnace mountianeer. He has climbed Mt. Everest from both sides of Tibet and Nepal few times. Besides, he has participated in many expeditions as leading sherpa in many expeditions above 7000mtr peaks of the HImalaya. He is also originally from Solukhumbu but these days he lives in Kathamndu with his wife.
 
Ang Dawa Sherpa was born to be Guide in the mountains! He holds the certification from Nepal mountaineering association(NMA) as high altitude guide and has climbed more than dozen of mid-range Himalayan peaks (Viz. Iceland peak, Mera, Lobuche, Chulu east and west, Baruntche to name few). He is looking for higher peaks if he finds any clients interested! Dawa is also from Solukhumbu the home of legendry mountain people known as Sherpas. He lives in Kathmandu with his wife and 2 children. He is also a very good cook. He works for several other companies as freelance guide. When in off the work, he does cycling trips and travelling with his family and friends.
